Rally Australia welcomes Toyota Australia as official vehicle partner in 2017. Australia’s number one new vehicle seller, Toyota also has an unmatched heritage in Australian rallying, supporting the Toyota crew of Neal Bates and Coral Taylor to four Australian Championships, plus other achievements.
At Rally Australia, Toyota fans will be cheering not only the official Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team but also Neal’s son Harry as he bids to win the CAMS Australian Rally Championship.
Forestry Corporation of NSW is an invaluable Rally Australia partner, providing in immaculate condition many kilometres of challenging special stage roads equal to the best in the FIA World Rally Championship.
Rally Australia Chairman Ben Rainsford thanked all the event sponsors and partners.
“Rally Australia is a huge and complex event requiring efficient logistics and extensive infrastructure over a wide area of the Coffs Coast region. With the incredible resources, as well as funding, that our sponsors and partners bring us it is never more true to say they are vital to staging Rally Australia,” Mr Rainsford said.
“Many other organisations at national and local level also contribute to the event. In particular, I knowledge the Coffs Coast business – and resident – communities, who send out a loud and clear message that the World Rally Championship is a very welcome visitor.”
