If you’ve been to Kennards Hire Rally Australia before, you know how great an experience it is. If you haven’t ever attended and you’re looking to attend in 2018, you’re in for an amazing week of fun-filled attractions and exciting world-class rally competition.
As the last event on the 2018 WRC Calendar, the stakes are high as the best rally drivers, co-drivers, and manufacturers compete for their respective World Champion titles. The event kicks off on the Thursday afternoon with the Opening Ceremony at the Coffs Harbour Jetty forshore.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are filled with spectacular rallying before the champagne spray at the end of the last stage at the NSW Forests Rally Village on Sunday afternoon. For more information on what’s happening on each day of the rally, download the daily Spectator Guides.
Located along the east coast of Australia, Coffs Harbour is easily accessible via the Pacific Highway in both directions, and is just under a four-hour drive from the Gold Coast and a six-hour drive from Sydney.
The Coffs Harbour Regional Airport offers direct flights to and from Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane from major Australian airlines. The NSW TrainLink offers two rail journeys each day from Brisbane and Sydney to the Coffs Harbour railway station. Coach services are also available.
Coffs Harbour is one of Australia’s premier tourist destinations and as such, is filled with excellent accommodation providers. Stay at the Opal Cove Resort where the Rally Headquarters is, or at Paradise Palms, a resort just across the road from Rally Headquarters.
