WORLD Rally Championship drivers have selected their own competition numbers for the first time, following an FIA rule change that aligns the WRC with Formula 1.
Priority 1 drivers revealed their choices at the Autosport International Show, although number 1# was reserved for Citroën’s Sébastien Ogier as the defending champion.
Other drivers will wear the following numbers this season (Hyundai’s Sébastien Loeb was not assigned a number because he is away contesting the Dakar Rally).
(1# Sébastien Ogier)
#4 Esapekka Lappi
#8 Ott Tanak
#10 Jari-Matti Latvala
#5 Kris Meeke
#11 Thierry Neuville
#89 Andreas Mikkelsen
#6 Dani Sordo
(Sébastien Loeb no number yet)
#3 Teemu Suninen
#33 Elfyn Evans
