M-SPORT’S 2016 FIESTAS GET THE BLUES

THE M-Sport World Rally Team has updated the livery for its Ford Fiestas in this season’s FIA World Rally Championship, which opens next week at Rallye Monte-Carlo.

The Fiesta RS WRC cars of new drivers Mads Østberg and Éric Camilli and the R5 WRC2 entry of Elfyn Evans feature a new blue base colour – Ford’s Nitrous Blue – while retaining key themes of the 2015 cars, which fans voted the best-looking Manufacturer entry.

Team Principal Malcolm Wilson said:

“The 2015 livery was immensely popular so rather than changing it completely, the team opted for an evolution which has created a bold look for our 2016 FIA World Rally Championship campaign.

“Drawing inspiration from what continues to be a strong technical partnership with Ford, this year’s colour scheme creates a fresh look for our new team.

“We also continue our partnerships with Michelin, Castrol and our valued trade partners – without whom this project would not be possible.”
