(6/2/2014) RALLY fans can keep up to date with all the latest news from the FIA World Rally Championship wherever they are with the new official free WRC app for smartphones and other mobile devices.
Exciting content including news, images, videos, live radio and results is available in English, German, French and Spanish for this week’s Rally Sweden, round two of the championship.
A new live text feature, which was introduced to the re-launched WRC website www.wrc.com at last month’s Rallye Monte-Carlo, can also be accessed from the app, while the WRC Facebook and Twitter feeds are also integrated.
Oliver Ciesla, managing director of WRC Promoter, said: “Following the successful re-launch of the home page, it was important to us to make sure that our fans are always kept well informed and up-to-date when they are on the move too.
“Our new app is an innovative product that delivers all the important information and features in a very clear and intuitive menu that is easy to navigate. We hope that WRC fans will really enjoy using this app.”
The free app is available for iOS devices from the App Store or https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/wrc-official-app-fiaworld/id799442789 and for Android devices at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.laola1.wrc&hl=en.
