Community Impact

Kennards Hire Rally Australia works with a number of local and regional stakeholders to coordinate the staging of the event.

While Coffs Harbour is the central location for the 2019 Kennards Hire Rally Australia, due to the nature of rallying, the event covers over a large geographic footprint. This means there will be a community impact, including road closures and traffic restrictions.

Please visit this page regularly for the latest community impact information in the lead-up to the 2019 event. For further information, please contact the Kennards Hire Rally Australia team.

Resident Information Packs will be sent to all residents along roads to be used by the rally. If you have not received an Info Pack and live on a stage or have inquiries regarding road closures, please contact Community Engagement Officer, Graeme Kady, on 0499 175 225 or [email protected].

Spectator Points:
Visitors to spectator areas will notice catering is being provided by local community groups such as Sporting Clubs, local Schools, and Service Clubs. The involvement of these groups allows them to fundraise for their individual projects and charities, so please support them.

Changed Traffic Conditions

There will be rolling road closures and changed traffic conditions in areas surrounding Coffs Harbour during the rally. Specific information will be published closer to the event.

For detailed information on the road closures and special event clear ways during the rally week and the event itself, visit the Live Traffic website go to, download Live Traffic NSW App for Apple and Android devices, or phone the Traffic Information Line on 132 701.

Some residents may have restricted access to their properties at various times. To help you understand how and when you’ll be able to move about your local area, please familiarise yourself with the changed traffic conditions to help you plan your day.
