COFFS COAST (NSW) – Home-grown singer Kailey Pallas will hit the “world stage” when she performs for fans at Kennards Hire Rally Australia in November.
The singer, songwriter and musician, 19, will be part of the line-up alongside rock legends Dragon for a free concert on Saturday 16 November during the FIA World Rally Championship final round, event organisers announced.
The concert at the Pedders Rally Central competitors’ service park in C.ex Coffs International Stadium will be free for holders of the four-day Ultimate Get Me Everywhere ticket.
“I can’t wait to perform at Rally Australia,” Kailey said.
“It’s such an exciting international event and it will be a big thrill to be a part of it. I’ve just had a ride in a rally car and can really understand what it’s about, so now I hope some of the WRC drivers will come along to the concert and hear what I can do.”
Kailey’s sounds are a blend of soulful and bluesy tones and she has the ability, range and experience to span genres from pop to jazz, country, musical theatre, rock and soul.
She has been playing to live audiences since she was six years old and shared the stage with performers including Glenn Shorrock, Sir John Rowles, Mental As Anything, The Radiators, Dean Ray, Shannon Noll and Daryl Braithwaite.
Kailey completed her singing qualifications through the Australian Music Examinations Board and has earned a Diploma in Music Industry with a Major in Musical Performance and a Certificate IV in Sound Production.
She has experience in live radio, acting, television, and modelling and is set to release her first EP of original songs late this year.
