AORC TO FEATURE ON FOX SPORTS NEWS

The Australian Off Road Championship will make its next appearance on Fox Sports News next Tuesday July 1 to highlight what is a huge few months of racing for the sport.

Offroad icons Bruce Garland and Brad Gallard will join the live television program to talk about the AORC’s TV highlights show from the iconic Tatts Finke Desert Race, which is due to air on Speed TV Australia in July. Plus Brad will preview the next round of the Championship being held in his hometown of Waikerie, South Australia, in a just over a weeks time.

At the 39th running of the Tatts Finke Desert Race, Isuzu UTE Australia’s Garland finished 48th outright and first in Production 4WD in his new #750 MU-X Isuzu. While Gallard’s #454 Toyo Tires Trophy Truck suffered a broken lower front arm just 27km from the finishline.

A South Australia local, Gallard will join the field of competitors taking part in Round 3 of the AORC at Waikerie, SA – the Toyo Tires Riverland Enduro – scheduled for July 4-6, 2014.

In what is its second year as broadcast partners, Fox Sports News’ sister station Speed TV Australia televises all rounds of the 2014 Championship in addition to the free-to-air coverage given by the Seven Network’s digital channel 7mate and its affiliations.

The complete 2014 Australian Off Road Championship calendar is as follows:

1. Kalgoorlie, WA: April 18-20 (Easter) – COMPLETED

2. Finke, NT: June 6-9 – COMPLETED

3. Waikerie, SA: July 4-6

4. Coffs Harbour, NSW: September 12-14 (WRC)

5. Lockyer Valley, QLD: October 17-19
